A fire that broke out on Erev Shabbos at the home of the Shluchim in Moshav Maslul, Rabbi Yisrael and Leah Kleinman, caused extensive damage to the family’s home and belongings. According to initial assessments, the blaze was caused by an electrical short circuit.
B’Chasdei Shamayim, all members of the family escaped safely and no one was injured.
For years, the Kleinman family’s home has served as the center of Chabad activity in Moshav Maslul, hosting Torah classes, children’s and youth programs, community events, assistance for local families, and welcoming countless Yidden through its doors.
Despite the devastating loss, the Shluchim remain committed to their Shlichus and are determined to rebuild both their home and the Chabad House, ensuring that Jewish life in the community continues to flourish.
A special fundraising campaign has now been launched to help the family rebuild their home and restore the vital activities of the Chabad House. The public is encouraged to partner in this important effort and help the Kleinman family recover.
