Cowards Strike in the Night: Swastikas Defile Bournemouth Jewish Homes
In a chilling act of hatred in Bournemouth, UK, swastikas have appeared on buildings across the city, marking a troubling rise in antisemitic incidents • Full Story
Early on Shabbos morning, Rabbi Benzion Alperowitz, Shliach of The Rebbe in Bournemouth, discovered a swastika spray-painted on the wall of his home while walking to Shul with two of his children. The symbols seemed to appear out of nowhere, a stark reminder of the forces of darkness seeking to intimidate the Jewish community.
Rabbi Alperowitz, who leads Chabad of Bournemouth, stated: “Cowards struck in the quiet of the night. We are working with the police and have removed the graffiti, but this is a wake-up call to stand strong against hatred.”
He added: “The Mezuzah will continue to protect us. We are proud to be Jews, and we will never allow evil to instill fear in our hearts.”
