Berlin: Talmidei Hashluchim Light Up the City

The initiative, launched by Rabbis Mendel Brandwein and Dovid Teichtel with the encouragement of Berlin’s Chief Rabbi and Shliach, Rabbi Yehuda Teichtel, renews a beloved project of bringing Bochurim from Oholei Torah in Brooklyn to serve as shluchim in the city.
The six students — Meir Danow, Mendel Weiner, Avraham Kaizen, Zelig Notik, Mendel Raskin, and Tzvi Schusterman — have already begun Mivtzoim, giving classes, organizing programs, and spreading the light of Chassidus among Berlin’s youth and Jewish residents.
They’re bringing to life the Rebbe’s call to “מאך ברלין ליובאוויטש” – “Make Berlin Lubavitch”, said Rabbi Teichtel. “Their presence is filling the city with joy, inspiration, and renewed Jewish pride.”
