    Throughout the night at the Shluchim’s Melava Malkah, the Shluchim was addressed by Rabbi Yosef Yeshaya Braun, Rabbi Asher Vaknin, Rabbi Yehoshua Hecht, Rabbi Chananel Pizem, Rabbi Barak Grossbaum, Rabbi Yosef Carlebach, among others. The theme of the event was “l’hashbis oyeiv u’misnakem” (in order to put an end to enemy and avenger).     Throughout the night at the Shluchim’s Melava Malkah, the Shluchim was addressed by a number of Shluchim and Rabbonim, Rabbi Yosef Carlebach served as MC of the Melava Malka, and welcomed the Shluchim to the event.

    Rabbi Asher Vaknin, Rav and Shliach in Queens, NY, spoke from the bottom of his heart about the role of the Shluchim in bringing Jews together, especially in these trying times.

    IDF captain Yair Ansbacher spoke about his experience fighting Hamas on the fateful day of Simchas Torah and the role of Shluchim on the frontlines.

    Chassidic singer Barak Grossberg, who considers himself a Shliach to the world of music, spoke of his journey towards Yiddishkeit. At the end of his speech, he took out his guitar and performed several Niggunim including ‘Yechi’, to a full auditorium of dancing.

    Rabbi Yosef Yeshaya Braun, Mara D’Asra of Crown Heights, discussed the sicha of Vayakhel 5752, the last Sicha we heard from the Rebbe, and emotionally discussed the mission for shluchim: Kabalas Pnei Moshiach.

    Rabbi Rachamim Banin, Shliach to Venice, Italy, was welcomed to the stage, where he said together with the crowd Kapital Chof, in honor and merit of the IDF soldiers and Yidden in Eretz Yisroel.

    After that, the crowd watched a video, scenes in which the Rebbe Melech Hamoshiach is sobbing as he talks about the situation in the Eretz Yisroel and the fact that Geulah is still delayed. The hall was silent as the Rebbe’s voice was heard.

    Rabbi Yehoshua Hecht, Rav and Shliach at Beth Israel Chabad of Westport/Norwalk, spoke about Shleimus Ha’aretz, and that shluchim should make contact with their politicians and ambassadors in support of the Holy Land.

    Rabbi Chananel Pizem, Shliach on the frontlines in Sderot, Eretz Yisroel, spoke about the fateful Simchas Torah in his city, And the Rebbe’s Brachos that accompanied them in the city, even when his own home was hit by a rocket by Hamas terrorists.

    The Zimun was led by Rabbi Yacov Borenstein of Poughkeepsie, NY.
