Miracle in Sderot: Rocket Hits Chabad Home, Gas Tank Struck but Disaster Averted

A rocket fired by Hamas from northern Gaza struck the courtyard of a Chabad Shliach’s home in Sderot late Monday morning, causing shrapnel to pierce a gas tank. Miraculously, the tank vented its contents without igniting, preventing what could have been a devastating explosion • Full Story

Throughout the night at the Shluchim’s Melava Malkah, the Shluchim was addressed by Rabbi Yosef Yeshaya Braun, Rabbi Asher Vaknin, Rabbi Yehoshua Hecht, Rabbi Chananel Pizem, Rabbi Barak Grossbaum, Rabbi Yosef Carlebach, among others. The theme of the event was “l’hashbis oyeiv u’misnakem” (in order to put an end to enemy and avenger).
