Ohr Menachem Boys Marveled a Dining Room Wall-to-Wall with Tanyas

In honor of Chof Daled Teves this year, the 6th & 7th grades in Cheder Ohr Menachem CH were privileged to a unique Farbrengen with a true figure of an Eltere Chossid.
Thursday afternoon the Melamdim R’ Dovber Bryski and R’ Yehuda Zaltzman took the boys to the home of R’ Zalman Chanin the Director of Vaad Lihafotzas Sichos (also a Zeide to boys in our cheder).
The Talmidim were specifically looking forward to hearing about the Rebbe’s Shturem of printing the Tanya all over the world which Rabbi Chanin was extremely influential in orchestrating.
Reb Zalman began by reminding the Talmidim of the fact that on this day – the Yartzait of the Alter Rebbe, he has an Aliya and causes an Aliya by all Chassidim following his guidance and path in Avodas Hashem.
He explained that when a Tanya is printed in a city, that city actually becomes the source to spreading the Chassidus – the “Maayan”. In detail Reb Zalman described how this step in Hafotzas hamaayonos all over the globe evolved and the Rebbe’s directives throughout.
The boys marveled as lining the dining room like a molding were hundreds of copies of different printings of the Tanya. He was also in for a surprise as a Talmid Feivel Selowin shared that he is an Einikel of Reb Osher Nikolaiver who actually printed the version of Tanya which the Rebbe asked to use in all further printings.
The boys went together to Daven Mincha in a nearby Shul inspired and uplifted toward learning Chassudus and Shtureming in the Rebbe’s Inyonim.
