With great sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of Rabbi Chaim Osher Kahanov, OB”M, a longtime member of the Crown Heights community. He passed away on Tuesday, the 20th of Nissan. He was 96-years-old.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah, and his children, Mrs. Chavie Bendet – Minnesota; Mrs. Chana Hayes – Ottawa, Canada; Rabbi Yossi Kahanov – Jacksonville, FL; Mrs. Chaya Levin – Kfar Chabad, ER”Y; Mrs. Rivky Block – S. Antonio, TX; Rabbi Dovid Kahanov – Crown Heights, and Rabbi Meir Kahanov – Crown Heights, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The Levaya will take place today.
