With great sadness we inform you of the untimely passing of Perel (Paula) Efros, OB”M, a longtime resident of Crown Heights who devoted her life to the Rebbe’s Mivtzoim.

Perel grew up in the former Soviet Union under the oppressive communist regime and kept Torah and Mitzvos with great Mesirus Nefesh. When she finally got the approval to leave the iron curtain, she relocated to Crown Heights where she worked in the F.R.E.E. Organization spreading Yiddishkeit to her brethren.

She is survived by her brother Nisson Efros of Crown Heights.

The Levaya will take place Friday, leaving Shomrei Hadas at 10:00am, and passing by 770 at 10:45am.
