Each year, Camp Yeka turns into a home for over 100 Jewish boys from disadvantaged and poverty stricken backgrounds. Many of the children are orphaned or come from abusive homes.
Camp Yeka provides them with a glimmer of light, an opportunity to be free of all their worries and more than anything to just be happy Jewish kids.
For 2 weeks the campers are immersed in a fun, loving and caring environment with daily trips, activities, sports and learning classes, encouraging the boys to be passionate and proud of their Yiddishkeit.
We have set a goal of raising $60,000 to cover the costs of this year’s summer camp which includes the cost of the campgrounds, food, flights for the camp counsellors and amazing trips. For the next 36 hours all donations are to be doubled by our generous matchers!
Your show of support and generosity WILL MAKE all the difference in giving the boys a summer of a lifetime.
