Rabbi Chaim Meir and Basy Bukiet, together with their daughter Chaya Mushka, will be establishing Chabad of Parrish, Florida.
Parrish, located in northern Manatee County, is among the fastest-growing communities in Florida, with an expanding population of young families and a growing Jewish presence.
The new Chabad House will serve as a welcoming center for Jewish life in the region, offering Shabbos and Yom Tov programs, educational classes, youth activities, and community support.
The Bukiets aim to build a vibrant hub of warmth, connection, and Jewish pride, providing local residents with a place to gather, learn, and strengthen their Jewish identity.
The initiative marks a continued expansion of Chabad’s presence across Florida’s Gulf Coast, as more communities seek accessible Jewish infrastructure alongside rapid residential growth.
