Rabbi Shneur Borgan, his wife Rivky, and their six children are joining the Rebbe’s Shluchim in Rishon LeZion, where they will serve in the new Beis Chabad in Nachalat Yehuda, under the leadership of Rabbi Mendy Chadad. The family will focus on expanding activities in the western part of the neighborhood.
The Shluchim throughout the city operate under the leadership of Rabbi Yitzchak Gruzman, the Rebbe’s head Shliach and chairman of the city’s network of Chabad houses.
In recent years, the Shluchim have brought about a major transformation in Jewish life across Rishon LeZion, establishing an extensive network of Chabad educational institutions, including daycare centers, kindergartens and schools, alongside dozens of communities and Batei Chabad and tens of thousands of people connected to their activities.
