    New Mossad Director Visits Kosel in First Time Since Taking Office

    Shortly after entering his new position, incoming Mossad Director Maj. Gen. Roman Gofman visited the Kosel this morning for a first official prayer visit in his new role.

    He was received by the Rabbi of the Western Wall and Holy Sites, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, and together they recited chapters of Tehillim, praying for Gofman’s success in his new position, as well as for the safety and security of Israel, its soldiers, and security forces.

    At the conclusion of the visit, the incoming Mossad chief placed a personal note between the stones of the Wall and wrote in the guest book “Netzach Yisrael lo yeshaker!
