The remarkable growth of Jewish life in Russia continues to inspire, as Torah study and Jewish education flourish across the country.

This week, talmidim of the Moscow branch of Tomchei Temimim gathered for a special event marking the conclusion of the yeshivah’s annual Mivtza Torah, a wide-ranging initiative that encouraged bochurim throughout the year to increase their diligence in Torah and Chassidus.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of pairs of mehudar Rashi and Rabbeinu Tam tefillin to outstanding participants, recognizing their exceptional dedication and achievement. The tefillin were generously donated by philanthropist Mr. Yehuda Davidov, chairman of the Keren 770 Foundation, in support of the yeshivah’s “Soldiers of Beis Dovid.”

The event was attended by members of the hanhalah, rabbanim, shluchim, and staff, led by Yeshivah Director Rabbi Yechezkel Lazar, who oversees the institution’s educational programs and development.

A special guest at the gathering was Rabbi Shimon Kresandomski, director of the Chabad House in Moscow’s Michurinsky district, who farbrenged with the bochurim and spoke about the tremendous privilege of dedicating one’s years to Torah learning and strengthening Jewish communities worldwide.

Organized by the yeshivah’s shluchim, the event reflected the continued growth and success of the Tomchei Temimim institution in Moscow, which remains a central pillar in rebuilding and strengthening Torah life in Russia.

The evening concluded with a festive Seudas Mitzvah and heartfelt Farbrengen. Through Niggunim and words of inspiration, the participants left strengthened in their resolve to continue growing in Torah, Chassidus, and Yiras Shamayim, as the voice of Torah continues to expand and illuminate Jewish life across Russia.
