The Jewish and tourist community in Clark, Philippines continues to grow and expand with the recent arrival of new shluchim, Rabbi Shmulik Avraham and his wife, who have joined the local Chabad House to strengthen and broaden Jewish life in the region.
The new shluchim arrived through the initiative and leadership of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Levy, who has worked extensively in recent years to expand Jewish activities throughout the country and provide spiritual and communal support for travelers, businesspeople, and local Jewish residents.
As part of their shlichus, Rabbi Avraham and his wife will oversee the Chabad House in Clark, organizing Shabbos and Yom Tov tefillos, Shabbos meals, Torah classes, children’s programs, assistance for travelers, and Jewish events throughout the year.
The shluchim emphasized that the central mission of their work is preparing the world to welcome Moshiach through strengthening Yiddishkeit and spreading the light of Torah and Chassidus to every Jew.
Community members noted that the arrival of the new shluchim is expected to bring major growth to Jewish life in Clark, which has become an increasingly popular destination for Israeli tourists and international business travelers.
Rabbi Levy welcomed the new shluchim, saying, “The goal is that every Jew who arrives in the Philippines should feel that they have a warm home, kosher food, and help with every physical and spiritual need.”
