The Rebbe’s army of Shluchim in Vietnam is growing. Rabbi Akiva and Giti Scheinberger of Kfar Chabad, together with their young daughter, have arrived in the country and will soon establish a new Chabad House in the scenic mountain town of Sapa, in northern Vietnam.
The Scheinberger family will serve under the leadership of Rabbi Menachem Hartman, the Rebbe’s head shliach to Vietnam, joining the expanding network of Chabad Houses that have been established in recent years across the country.
The new Chabad House in Sapa is expected to provide a vital center for Jewish life in the region, offering Shabbat meals, Torah learning, and support for both local Jews and the many Israeli backpackers who frequent the area.
