During the Levaya of Chief Rabbi of Bnei Brak, Harav Moshe Yehuda Leib Landau, OB”M, the mayor of Bnei Brak, Avraham Rubinstein announced the successor for the Rav of Bnei Brak.
He will be succeeded by his son, Rabbi Chaim Isaac Landau, a well-known Magid Shiur at Yeshivas Chasidei Chabad Lubavitch of Tzfas, who will run the Kashrus and other religious maters of the city, alongside Rabbi Shevach Zvi Rosenblatt.
Rabbi Chaim Isaac Landau, will be the third consecutive Landau, who will serve as Rov of the city of Bnei Brak.
Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Leib Landau was appointed as the city’s Rov 33 years ago, after the passing of his father, Rabbi Yaakov Landau.
