A historic gathering took place in Argentina for the Siyum of the 12th Sefer Torah Haklali, written at the directive of the Rebbe to unite Klal Yisroel through a shared letter in a Sefer Torah.
The event brought together Rabbanim and Torah leaders from across Argentina, the Rebbe’s Shluchim, representatives of the Israeli Embassy, public officials and members of Jewish communities throughout the country.
Among those in attendance were Israel’s Chief Rabbi and President of the Chief Rabbinate Council, Rabbi Kalman Ber; the Rebbe’s Shliach to Argentina, Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt; and Chairman of the World Committee for the Writing of the General Sifrei Torah, Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Oirichman.
The highlight of the event was the special Hakafos, celebrated with singing, dancing and an atmosphere of Achdus Yisroel. The Hakafos were dedicated to the Rebbe Melech Hamoshiach, the Jews of Argentina and Eretz Yisroel, the Rebbe’s Shluchim worldwide – especially those serving in distant locations – the children of Klal Yisroel, and the coming of Moshiach.
The Siyum brought together Jews from across Argentina’s diverse communities, highlighting the power of the Sefer Torah Haklali to unite Klal Yisroel through the Torah and Ahavas Yisroel.
