With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Rabbi Mordechai Goldstein, OB”M, dean of the Diaspora Yeshiva on Yerushalayim. He passed away Thursday following an illness that had him confined to a wheelchair in recent years. He was 85 years old.
Rabbi Goldstein visited the Rebbe many times, receiving dollars for blessings for the success of his Yeshiva.
He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Sybil Gitlin of Crown Heights and other siblings.
Mrs. Gitlin will be sitting Shiva in her home at 662 Lefferts Ave.
Monday she will be sitting with her sister Cicely German in Upstate NY.
