In 5732, Reb Bentzion ShemTov z”l opened this organization realizing the need for the Rebbe’s Sichos to be translated into Hebrew. In 5732, Reb Bentzion ShemTov Z”L opened this organization realizing the need for the Rebbe’s Sichos to be translated into Hebrew. After receiving the Rebbe’s brocha and haskama, he named it after the Rebbe’s father “Mechon Levi Yitzchok.”
Baruch Hashem, this year the Machon are celebrating 50 years of publicizing the Rebbe’s Torah to the Hebrew speaking audience. They translate and distribute the Rebbe’s Sichos throughout Eretz Yisroel and the world!

On Motzei Tisha B’Av 5744, the Rebbe added a note to many of the letters sent out that day, saying that in a few days will be the 40th Yartzeit of his father. The Rebbe said:
“ועלי החוב והזכות גדול, להציע ולבקש וכו’ – ללמוד בהתועדות בתורתו, ולנדב ביומא דין לז”נ [לזכר נשמתו]”
