B’chasdei Hashem, after spending several months in the hospital and rehab, Hatomim Shmulik Amar celebrated his seudas mitzvah in 770 on Motzei Shabbos.
Joining the Seudas Mitzvah were members of Hatzalah who responded to the fire. His father, Rabbi Zohar Amar, said Mizmor Lesoda for the many nissim and niflaos.
The fire, which took place about three months ago, injured seven bochurim, including Shmulik and another who was seriously hurt. The flames completely destroyed the apartment on Eastern Parkway between Brooklyn and New York Avenues, leaving the bochurim with nothing.
Over the past three months, with everyone’s Tehillim and Hashem’s miracles, Shmulik made a miraculous recovery. Shortly after Pesach, the family reported that Shmulik began breathing on his own, following a long period of sedation and ventilation. Just before Yom Tov, he woke up and began responding, communicating, and showing signs of healing. Last night, he visited 770-Beis Chayeinu for the first time since the fire.
