Israel’s Minister of Immigration and Absorption Ofir Sofer started off his US tour with a visit to 770. The tour was conducted by Rabbi Dovid Nachshon, the director of the Mitzvah Tanks and Tzivos Hashem in Israel.
During the visit they toured the WLCC Broadcast Room and spent time in the lobby from where The Rebbe distributed dollars, the minister was moved by the stories he heard about the Rebbe MH”M.
Later, they toured the Rebbe’s library, where he received a special tour from Rabbi Shalom Ber Levin.
Towards the end of the visit, they toured the Main Shul of 770 and davened Mincha with the Rebbe.
The minister said after the visit, “It is a great privilege for me to start this important visit with Chabad, to see up close 770, from where thousands of Shluchim go out to all over the world.”
