In a slap in the face to the Brooklyn Jewish community, Rep. Yvette Clarke, who infamously voted for the Obama Iran Nuclear deal and is the Congress member representing Crown Heights, Flatbush and most of Boro Park. Released two statements on social media saying she will do everything in her legislative power to stop President Trump and Israel from defending our countries against Iran.

“Donald Trump has gone violently and derangedly rogue. Without any imminent threat to our nation, without the approval of Congress, and without any regard for the American service members and innocent people who will die because of his orders, he has launched his illegal war on Iran.

“The president’s reckless and ruinous act will take American lives and drag this country towards another devastating, endless war that the American people do not want and would never agree to. Call both chambers of Congress back into session immediately, and I will vote against this war. History must know where we stood on this dark day for America.”

A Crown Heights resident said, “Our Congresswoman’s statement sounds like her constituents are leftists when the reality is that Rep. Clarke represents in her district the largest number of Orthodox Jews in America.”
