About a month ago, we reported that two Chabad bochurim who were putting on tefillin with Jews in Haifa were issued fines by the municipality. Wedding photographer Adi Avraham, who came across the story, could not remain indifferent.
After learning of the incident, Avraham set out to locate the bochurim. Upon finding them, he went a step further and personally paid the fines in full, totaling 1,460 shekels (roughly $430) – 730 Shekel each.
Sharing his motivation on social media, Avraham wrote: “Because of you, I have been putting on tefillin every day for the past two years. A huge thank you for your shlichus — there are no words to describe the greatness and strength of what you do.”
