The IDF revealed footage from the moments of the rescue of the Hostages Louis Har and Fernando Marman during the Rafah operation.
“The abductees are in our hands, safe and sound! We are getting on a helicopter to fly to the hospital,” the fighters are heard saying as the abductees say with emotion: “I feel shock! My heart is warm!”
The deputy commander of the fighters, Major A. said: “Tonight, in a joint operation by the IDF, the Shin Bet and the Yamam, the two abductees were rescued. A force of the 13th Fleet and the 551st Mobility Unit were on alert with protected and fast vehicles to rescue the forces in the field if necessary. With the rescue of the abductees, they were transferred to us and in a quick operational drive we took them to the airstrip where the helicopter that returned them safely to our territory was waiting for them.”
