Yeshiva Ketana Lubavitch London has seen tremendous growth in recent years, continuing a proud tradition that began nearly fifty years ago. The yeshiva was founded back in 5733 (1972), at the Rebbe’s directive to open 72 new mosdos around the world, spreading Torah across the globe.

Today, thanks to the dedication of passionate Maggidei Shiurim and teachers who truly care about each bochur’s growth, the yeshiva has grown significantly and is now a thriving learning environment with over 50 Talmidim. With a steadily growing student body, the Yeshiva remains focused on delivering not just Torah study, but also on building strong middos and instilling a deep love for mitzvos and the chassidishe way of life.

The recent siyum held by the Yeshiva celebrated the talmidim’s tremendous accomplishments over the course of their learning, having completed 1,560 Sichos, 2,624 se’ifim of the Alter Rebbe’s Shulchan Aruch, and 7,245 se’ifim of the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch. In addition, they were tested on 1,950 amudim bifnim and 470 ba’al peh.

It was a night filled with nachas, as parents watched their sons celebrated for their commitment to Torah and their personal growth over the year.

The program was led by the menahel, Rabbi Moshe Zavdi, who spoke warmly about the unique contribution of each bochur, and presented certificates and seforim in recognition of their dedication.

Hatomim Menachem Landa delivered the hadran and was mesayem Maseches Sukkah on behalf of the talmidim, beautifully bringing out the Rebbe’s unique approach to the sugya.

Dayan Levi Yitzchok Raskin, Rov of the local Lubavitch Kehillah and a regular maggid shiur at the Yeshiva, shared divrei brocha, followed by Rabbi Yosef Weinberg, rov of Kehillas Tiferes Yisroel, who spoke about the tremendous zechus of being part of a mosad where the learning is filled with chayus and hasmadah.

The evening also saw the release of the seventh edition of Kovetz He’oros – Nitzutzei Torah, compiled by the bochurim with guidance from veteran mechanech Rabbi Chaim Dovid Aaron Tiefenbrun. The kovetz was dedicated in memory of Rabbi Levi Paris a”h, the beloved mashpia of the Yeshiva Ketanah.

This year marks a special milestone for Rabbi Zavdi, the beloved menahel, who entered his Shnas HaChamishim. As Chazal say, “Ben chamishim l’eitzah”, an age associated with deep wisdom and sound guidance — qualities that Rabbi Zavdi exemplifies in his devoted leadership of the talmidim and staff alike. His unwavering dedication, calm presence, and chassidishe warmth continue to shape the spirit and direction of the yeshiva.
