Tzamah 5786 Kicks Off at Binyanei Ha’uma in Yerushalayim

The annual “Tzamah” events opened last night (Tuesday) with thousands of participants filling Binyanei HaUma in Jerusalem.
The powerful and uplifting main event launched at full momentum. The massive crowd was first presented a letter from The Rebbe in honor of the Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengens, followed by an emotional video clip featuring the Rebbe singing.
This year, the large-scale events will span eight consecutive days, with an estimated 12,000 attendees expected each day—amounting to many tens of thousands over the course of the entire gathering.
Organizers placed special emphasis on rich and meaningful content, including in-depth Farbrengens, captivating Chassidus Shiurim, dedicated conferences, generous refreshments for participants, and of course, the renowned Chassidus book fair offering deeply discounted prices.
The highlight of Tzamah is the grand musical performance featuring Avraham Fried, Akiva, Benaia Barabi, and Moti Steinmetz—combining stirring Chassidic melodies with uplifting messages throughout the program, along with select teachings of Chassidus presented alongside gripping stories of strength and faith shared by hostages who returned from Hamas captivity.
In addition to the evening programs for the broader public, the mornings are dedicated to youth: approximately 300 schools from across the country, along with their staff and the majority of their students, are expected to visit Binyanei HaUma during the Tzamah days to absorb inspiration and connect with the world of Chassidus.
