The 8th Siyum HaRambam HaOlami took place at the Javits Center in Manhattan on 28 Tishrei 5752, bringing together Rabbonim, Roshei Yeshiva, and participants from across the Jewish world to celebrate the completion of the Rambam study cycle.
The program featured musical interludes by the Tzlil V’Zemer Choir, with MC R’ Mulleh Butman. Among the distinguished speakers and participants were R’ Yoel Kahn, Harav Eliyahu Fischer of Gur, Harav Moshe Menachem Schapiro, Harav Mordechai Dov Altein of Vaad Rabonei Lubavitch, Harav Yerachmiel Zeltzer of Skulen, Harav Yehuda Kalman Marlow of the Crown Heights Beis Din, Harav Moshe Dovid Steinwurtzel of Bobov, Harav Simcha Elberg of Agudas Harabonim, Harav Yitzchok Isaac Liebes of Igud Harabonim, Harav Moshe Nosson (Max) Schreier of Histadrus Harabonim, Harav Boruch Leizerowski, Av Beis Din of Philadelphia, Harav Moshe Tendler, Harav Yitzchok Yehuda Yaroslavsky of Beis Din Rabonei Anash, and philanthropist R’ Yossel Hakohe Gutnik.
The Siyum was made by Harav Yisroel Yitzchok Piekarski, Rosh Yeshiva of 770, followed by the haschala led by Harav Pinchos Hirschprung, Av Beis Din of Montreal, with additional participation by the Nadverner Rebbe, Harav Yosef Ba-Gad, Rosh Yeshiva of Nechalim, and renowned Chossid R’ Mendel Futerfas.
The event, organized by Vaad Siyum HaRambam, remains a significant moment in the worldwide observance of the Rebbe’s daily Rambam learning campaign.
