A 19-year-old IDF soldier has been lightly injured in a ramming attack in the Binyamin region on Tuesday evening.
The attack occurred at the Halamish-Neve Tzuf junction on Road 465.
Magen David Adom (MDA) responders and paramedics provided medical care to the young man, who suffered injuries to his legs.
The driver of the vehicle along with a passenger have been apprehended and the vehicle has been seized. Security forces are at the scene.
The IDF said following the attack: “Following the previous report, a terrorist driving by the community of Halamish accelerated his car towards a number of IDF troops who were securing the route. The terrorist hit an IDF soldier who has been evacuated to a hospital by an IAF helicopter that was dispatched to the scene.
The terrorist was apprehended and transferred to security forces for further questioning.”
