On Shabbos Parshas Vayetze, a week after the Kinus HaShluchim concluded, the Rebbe spoke about the Kinus, and concluded by saying:
“…Although the Kinus has already concluded, the banner of the Kinus HaShluchim was left hanging, by the organizers, and they should be blessed – because this shows that the Kinus doesn’t end, rather it continues forever, and has an effect on the world, until it makes from the world a place for G-d…”
