The blaze was first reported around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday near the 1100 block of North Piedra Morada Drive. By early afternoon, it had rapidly grown to more than 700 acres, with no containment in sight, according to CalFire.
Fire officials warn that strong winds and dry conditions are fueling the fire’s expansion, posing a significant challenge to firefighting efforts. “This fire is dynamic and moving quickly,” said a CalFire representative.
Residents are being urged to evacuate immediately and follow designated routes toward safety.
