Two permanent modular structures have been installed, which will continue to serve as a Chabad House at the site of the attack.
On the day marking the conclusion of the shiva and the Hakomas Hamatzeva the permanent Chabad presence was officially established at the site of the tragic massacre in Bondi Beach and will remain there on an ongoing basis.
“This place will serve as a focal point for tens of thousands of visitors, exactly as Rabbi Eli and Yaakov HY”D, would have wanted,” said the Rebbe’s Shliach, Rabbi Noach, who initiated the project in a statement to ChabadInfo.
ChabadInfo has learned that in the future, a fully permanent Chabad House building will be established at the site, as a source of pride and strength for Chabad of Bondi Beach.
