Just two months after the Mitzvah Tank was vandalized with anitsemetic graffiti on Broadway it was vandalized a second time at the same location.
As Chabadinfo reported, as the tank was parked was parked on Broadway, on October 30th, 2022,, in the heart of SOHO, was defaced with pro-Palestinian graffiti.
On Thursday evening, the ‘Mitzvah Tank of the shliach Rabbi Yehuda Pevzner, standing on Broadway in Manhattan, again with an anti-Semitic inscription on its side facing the street.
On Friday they arrived to find the word “Palestine” again scrawled in spray-paint onto the side of the vehicle.
NYPD officers who were called to the scene, took details and the security camera footage and started an investigation.
“Our Mitzvah Tank was once again hatefully vandalized. Same location (Manhattan’s busiest traffic corridor).detectives are investigating and we hope that this case is taken very seriously.” Rabbi Pevzner wrote on Twitter
They proudly to help and assist the community and Jewish passers-by in Manhattan, and make available Jewish services for them, such as: putting on Tefillin, Shabbos candles, Torah lessons and more – as encouraged and instructed by the Rebbe.
