Hundreds of residents of Monsey, NY gathered last night for a special event in honor of Yud Aleph Nissan – 120. Those gathered came from a wide variety of sub-communities in the upstate Jewish enclave.

The event, hosted by Rabbi Dudi Farkash, served as a great kiddush Lubavitch, something certain to give nachas to the Rebbe MH”M on his birthday.

The gathering commenced with a special seder sichos, where those present learned the Rebbe’s Torah one on one.

Following seder sichos was the formal portion of the event, where speakers stood up to inspire the crowd from the grand stage at the front of the hall. First up was Rabbi Farkash, who spoke about the great honor it is to be a chossid of the Rebbe.

Following him was Shliach to Princeton, NJ and renowned author Rabbi Dovid Dubov, who spoke about the Rebbe’s unique upbringing and childhood.

The evening’s guest of honor was Senior Shliach to Thailand Rabbi Yosef Kantor. Rabbi Kantor spoke passionately about how our success as chassidim and as Shluchim comes only from the Rebbe and not from ourselves at all.

Other speakers also ascended the stage to inspire the crowd.

Last night’s impressive event was coordinated thanks to a group of dedicated talmidim from 770, led by hatomim Chaim Moshe Weber.
