Kosher travelers flying through two of London’s busiest secondary airports now have a new food option, with kosher sandwiches from DD’s becoming available at both London Luton Airport (LTN) and London Stansted Airport (STN).
The sandwiches, produced by Hermolis Kosher Foods, are being sold at Caffè Nero locations at the two airports, providing a convenient option for Jewish travelers departing on the many low-cost and European flights operating from Luton and Stansted.
The development fills a longstanding gap for kosher travelers. While London Heathrow has offered kosher food options for years, passengers traveling through Luton and Stansted have had far fewer convenient options available inside the airports.
The availability of DD’s sandwiches is particularly useful for travelers heading to Israel or continuing on to other European destinations, allowing passengers to pick up kosher food before boarding rather than having to arrange meals in advance or travel to the airport with their own food.
The sandwiches add Luton and Stansted to a growing list of airports where kosher travelers can find certified kosher food options, making air travel a little easier for Jewish passengers across Europe.
