With great joy and excitement, the bris of the son of the Rebbe’s shliach, Rabbi Liraz Zeira, was held at a festive and emotional gathering at the spacious and elegant Chabad on Campus center under Rabbi Zeira’s leadership.
Rabbonim, distinguished guests, shluchim, friends, and community members attended the simcha, including the doctors who have accompanied Rabbi Zeira with great dedication since he was injured during a military operation in Syria. Many came to participate in the special occasion and share in the joy of Rabbi Zeira and his family.
The honor of sandek was given to Rabbi Chaim Shlomo Diskin, Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Ata and a shliach of the Rebbe.
Among those in attendance were Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Segal, Rabbi Yaakov Halperin, Rabbi Tzvi Ruderman, Rabbi Yisrael Goldberg, Rabbi Noam Roth, Rabbi Daniel Kaalev, and Rabbi Yossi Swerdlov, together with additional shluchim from Jerusalem and across Eretz Yisroel, as well as many friends and supporters who came to celebrate and offer heartfelt mazal tov wishes to the family.
A special moment took place during the festive bris meal, when Rabbi Shalom Ber Marzel led all those present in completing Sefer Kedushah of the Rambam.
The baby was given the name: Assaf Dovid.
