Rabbi Dovid Goldstein and Dustin Cohen-Mitchell, organized a concert in Houston, Texas, featuring black Orthodox Jewish rapper, Nissim Black, this past Sunday.
The event featured a catered kosher-for-Passover dinner with Black for VIP ticket holders, which was followed by a live 90-minute concert.
Prior to the concert, Goldstein and Black visited the Stringfellow Prison, home to Texas Department of Criminal Justice’s enhanced Jewish program, where Black gave a special performance for the Jewish inmates.
All proceeds from the event benefited the Friendship Circle of Houston’s community garden at Chabad of West Houston, which is a project designed for children and adults with special needs and disabilities.
