Frum Kids Wrongfully Placed in Non-Jewish Foster Care

Three children were wrongfully removed from their frum, Jewish home in Texas and placed in foster care with a non-Jewish family. Multiple Shluchim and Rabbonim have mobilized to reunite the children with their parents • Full Story

Six security guards surround the exhausted parents and force them to leave the hospital. Their children are left behind…

How could this be happening?! Their toddler and babies are seized by strangers!!! Will their sick baby survive the day?!

Child Protective Services wrongfully removed three very young children from their parents after suspicions of abuse and placed them in foster care.

Multiple medical experts who reviewed the case were shocked to see that there was no indication of abuse, and the original diagnosis was in error. The brain bleed was a result of a preexisting, benign condition.

Despite a CPS-approved home study for temporary placement of the children at friends of the family, 3 months have passed and the children are still in foster care.

The children are suffering mentally, emotionally, and physically.

To make matters worse, this is a frum family and 2 of the children are still in non-Jewish homes where they are being given non kosher food and their religious needs are not being met!

Unfortunately, CPS keeps stalling, and the hearing keeps getting delayed.

Attorneys and experts in the field describe the treatment of this family as egregious and unprecedented.

There is no good reason why the children haven’t been temporarily placed in the CPS-approved home of the family friend. It’s outrageous that these children are being treated so terribly.

Your gift will fight back for these children and support the family through this time.

Your gift will pay for the enormous legal fees, counseling, and emotional support for the family.

Please give generously to help bring the kids home and reunite the family.

This campaign is endorsed by the following rabbis who are familiar with the case:

Rabbi Bentzi Epstein, DATA – Dallas Area Torah Association

Rabbi Moshe Perlstein, Yeshivas Ohr Eliyahu

Rabbi Aryeh Rodin, Congregation Ohev Shalom

Rabbi Shmuel Wineberg, Yeshivas Ohr Eliyahu

Rabbi Yossi Wilhelm, Chabad of Knoxville

Donations are tax-deductible and will be collected in the Mordechai Solomon Tzedaka Fund of Yeshivas Ohr Eliyahu Lubavitch Mesivta of Chicago.

Rabbi Moshe Perlstein and Rabbi Shmuel Wineberg will oversee the responsible use of funds in efforts to bring the children home and support the family through this difficult time.

Please feel free to reach out to Rabbi Shmuel Wineberg with questions or suggestions. [email protected].
