Chabad of Flatbush celebrated Lag B’Omer in style with an exciting Bonfire and our annual MParade.
Close to two hundred men, women and children gathered together in the home of Rabbi Zalman & Chanie Liberow in honor of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai.
The evening began with a captivating children’s rally filled with Pesukim, stories, prizes and more.
A hilarious puppet show was then performed by B & Z Productions emphasizing how every moment that passes should be filled with joy as it is one moment closer to the final Geulah!
The evening continued with a delicious BBQ, a video of the Rebbe, the kindling of the gigantic bonfire, music and dancing.
And the fun kept coming! Thursday afternoon our eye-catching Mitzvah Tank departed the Chabad House followed by a parade of smart cars and a double-decker bus!
Niggunim blasted from the tank as the parade wound its way through the streets of Flatbush as well as announcements explaining the MParade. (M stands for Mitzvah & Moshiach and the goal is to do one more mitzvah to reveal Moshiach now!)
The children atop the double-decker bus enjoyed a fabulous Lag B’Omer program and had a blast waving their Mivtzoim banners for the fascinated pedestrians to see!
A special thank you to Benny Becker sound systems and Small Wonder Puppet Theater for their support and guidance, and a special thank you to Levi and Raizel Liberow, Zalmy & Dabrushie Brownstein, Yossi Liberow & the many Bochurim who made these events possible.
