Five IDF soldiers were injured earlier today (Wednesday) when an explosive drone launched by Hezbollah struck forces operating in southern Lebanon.

According to the IDF, one soldier sustained severe injuries, two were moderately wounded, and two others suffered light injuries in the attack.

All of the injured soldiers were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment. The IDF stated that their families have been notified.

The incident comes amid ongoing military operations along Israel’s northern border and continued security tensions with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. The circumstances surrounding the attack are under review by the military.
