    Rabbi Moshe Reuven Azman, The Chief Rabbi of Ukraine and Shliach, Received the ‘Glory to Ukraine’ award from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. The award was given because of the humanitarian efforts of the Ukrainian Jewish communities and the provided equipment to the local hospitals in Ukraine during the Ukrainian- Russian war.

    Rabbi Azman wrote on Facebook (Translated from Ukrainian): “It was a real surprise for me! Such a great appreciation of my humble activity. We continue to work, Glory to Ukraine!”

    Rabbi Azman recently visited Israel to drum up support for Ukrainian Jews during this difficult war. He met with Ashkenazi Chief of Israel Rabbi David Lau. Former Prime minister and opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu, and many other Knesset Members.

    Likud MK Nir Barkat recently traveled to Ukraine and met with Rabbi Azman in Kiev, the first MK to visit Ukraine during the war.
