According to the notice, all fresh meat and poultry products that are non-processed, non-cooked, and non-cured, and that bear CHK certification, are kosher for Pesach year-round and do not require any special Pesach labeling, as they contain no Chometz and are produced under constant kosher supervision.

However, the Vaad emphasized that all processed, cooked, or cured meats, including cold cuts, must carry a clear “Kosher for Passover” designation on each package.

The advisory also included a list of approved brands for raw meat only, reminding consumers that CHK certification applies only to products that visibly bear the CHK label.

As the community prepares for Pesach, the Vaad extended wishes for a kosher and joyous Yom Tov.
