Bringing Glatt Kosher to Namibia
As ChabadInfo.com reported less than a year ago, a new Chabad house was established in the south-western African country of Namibia by Shluchim Rabbi Yosef and Mushka Rahimi. As soon as they arrived, the young couple realized shechita would be a challenge, but a challenge they can overcome. After a lot of effort, the Shluchim managed to bring down a Shochet ahead of Tishrei had a Kosher Shechita in Namibia this past Chai Elul.
