After the completion of the identification process by the National Center of Forensic Medicine, together with the Israel Police and the IDF Rabbinate, the Hostages and Missing Persons Coordinator, along with representatives of the IDF and the Foreign Ministry, informed the family of the fallen hostage, Sudthisak Rinthalak, that their loved one has been returned to Israel and formally identified, the Prime Minister’s Office announced.
Brig. Gen. (res.) Gal Hirsch, the Hostages and Missing Persons Coordinator, told the family that arrangements for returning him to his homeland for burial will be coordinated with the Embassy of Thailand in Israel, and that the Government of Israel shares in the deep sorrow of the Rintalak family, the Thai people, and all the families of the murdered hostages.
