After six years of waiting, fans of Benny Friedman can finally celebrate: the popular Chassidic singer is releasing a brand-new original album titled “Ein Hadavar Talui Ela Becha” (“Everything Depends Only on You”). This is Friedman’s first full original album since 2019, a period in which the world experienced dramatic changes—including the COVID-19 pandemic, the rise of artificial intelligence, and other significant global events.
Over the past six years, Friedman has been far from idle. He released original singles, impressive vocal albums, and performed worldwide as part of the “Am Yisrael Chai” tour. He also collaborated with Mordy Shapiro in the cross-continental duet “LeChai Olamim” with Matt Dov. Yet fans continued to eagerly anticipate a full original album—and now their wait is over.
“Ein Hadavar Talui Ela Becha” features 13 new tracks, arranged and produced by Doni Gross. Each song carries a deep spiritual message, drawing on sources from the Rambam, the Gemara, and original compositions that blend the signature authentic and energetic style that has become Friedman’s hallmark.
The lead single, “Talui Becha”, is expected to become a standout hit, alongside other notable tracks like the lively “Le’olam Va’ed” and “Bar Papa”—a special song honoring those completing a tractate, timed perfectly with the conclusion of Masechet Avodah Zarah in Daf Yomi.
The album also includes two moving duets, one with Hershy Weinberger and another with Baruch Levine, adding depth and emotion to the musical project.
“Everyone kept asking me, ‘When will the new album come out?’ I always said, ‘Stop waiting. Wait for Moshiach. Stop waiting. When it’s ready, I’ll let you know.’ I worked on it in my own time, with no deadlines,” Friedman explained about the long process.
“Ein Hadavar Talui Ela Becha” promises to reestablish Benny Friedman at the forefront of Jewish music, combining profound spiritual messages with a modern and moving musical experience.
