Chabad of Woodmere, under the leadership of Shluchim Rabbi Efraim and Sarah Setton, hosted inspirational Yomim Noraim services that united the community in prayer, joy, and heartfelt connection.

Rosh Hashanah began with uplifting and joyful tefillot, led by professional chazanim, filled with soulful melodies, and enriched with inspiring words from the spiritual leader, Rabbi Efraim Setton. Young Shluchim Yossel and Mendel Setton, together with devoted bochurim, worked tirelessly to sound the shofar throughout the streets of Woodmere — at the Woodmere Docks where many gathered for Tashlich — and attended calls to homebound individuals. With over 100 shofar blasts, they ensured that everyone could fulfill the special mitzvah of hearing the shofar, spreading inspiration and unity throughout the community.

Yom Kippur at Chabad of Woodmere was equally moving and uplifting. Two meaningful minyanim were hosted: a Sefardic Minyan indoors and a Chabad House Minyan in a welcoming, spacious outdoor tent open to all. Over 150 participants joined throughout Yom Tov, and an amazing children’s program — complete with a wonderful show — gave parents the opportunity to daven peacefully in a seamless atmosphere.

After 25 hours of heartfelt prayers and soulful melodies, the fast concluded with a powerful tekiot by the spiritual leader Rabbi Efraim Setton. The community then came together to enjoy a generous and delicious break-fast buffet, departing with uplifted spirits, inspiration, and faith that a year overflowing with blessing and success awaits.
