100 ‘Tzfati’ Bochurim Memorize Maseches Shabbos
100 ‘Tzfati’ Bochurim, students at the largest Chabad Yeshiva in the world, the Yeshiva of Tzfas, memorized the whole Maseches Shabbos.
10 of those Bochurim also memorized Maseches Sukkah, Rosh Hashana and Sottah, and were privileged to be tested by some of Israel’s most prominent Rabbinical authorities, whom were left a long lasting impresion of the young prodigies learning in Tzfas.
The Bochurim visited the local Tzfas Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu; then proceeded to visit the Rishon L’Tzion and former Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel, Shlomo Amar; the prominent Halachic authority and head of the Encycplodia Talmudit, Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg; and concluding with the Chief Rabbi of Kfar Chabad, Rabbi Mordechai Ashkenazi.
