A large-scale missile attack fired by Iran on Israel last night (Monday) killed eight people and injured over a hundred. Magen David Adam (MDA) and rescue teams were called to five different sites across Israel.
In Haifa, three missing people were found lifeless at a factory after extensive searches at the scene where a severe fire had broken out from a missile hit.
In Bnei Brak, an 80-year-old man was killed by a missile strike, and in Petach Tikva, four people were killed – two of them while inside a military barracks, and two others – one in the same building and the other as a result of the impact in a nearby building.
Two falls were reported in Tel Aviv, one of which caused limited damage to the US embassy compound. Since the start of the war with Iran, 24 civilians have been murdered, and their blood will be shed there.
Last night, about 40 surface-to-surface missiles were fired at Israel.
The Home Front Command stated that “the MAMD is the best means of protection and has proven itself.” In the same building in Petah Tikva where the couple were killed, “all the other residents who were in the MAMDs escaped unharmed.”
MDA teams evacuated more than 100 injured people to hospitals. Of these, one woman is in serious condition with facial injuries, six are in moderate condition, and 85 are in mild condition. Rescue and search operations are continuing.
