What began as a bold last-minute idea turned into an unforgettable achievement: in just a couple of days, the bochurim of Camp Ohr Menachem wrote, directed, and filmed Connected Through Song—a stirring short film that follows a Sephardic family’s struggle during the Holocaust, told through the lens of music and resilience.

With time running out and no budget, the team quickly mobilized. They brought in a professional film crew, transformed the streets of Cote St. Luc into a cinematic backdrop, and crafted costumes and props on the fly. What could’ve been chaos became a creative triumph.

Months later, after tireless editing, the finished product is here. Connected Through Song is raw, heartfelt, and impressively polished. Early viewers were moved to both laughter and tears.

The film is now streaming on YouTube, free to watch and share.
