At Laguardia Airport, Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz, Shliach in Southwest Florida, was on the way to Israel was waiting for other family members arriving from Fort Lauderdale by Hashgacha Pratis, his family member’s stroller that was gate checked was late. In the meantime, World renowned Singer and Chazan Yedidia Jaiat was on the way to a concert he will be performing and, in a rush, to catch his early morning flight he left his Teffilin at home. He was so excited to see a Chabad Rabbi that can provide Teffilin to Daven.
Right there in Laguardia Airport he put on Teffilin and was so excited to share that he is the Chazan at the The Sephardic Minyan at the Shul of Bal Harbour and was Surprised and Happy to hear that Rabbi Minkowicz is actually cousins with Rabbi Sholom and Chani Lipskar who are the Rebbe’s Shluchim at the Shul in Bal Harbour.
