Israeli Prime Minister took to Twitter this morning to sing the praises of the worldwide Chabad movement. In his tweet, the Prime Minister writes:

“There is nothing like Chabad in the world. Whenever Jews get into trouble, no matter where it happens in the world, you will find Chabad angels there who come to the rescue. Chabad emissaries and their families live a life of devotion, assistance and closeness of heart. In Nepal and Novosibirsk, In Colombia and Ukraine, In every corner of the world – in heat and cold.

“In large communities but also in remote places, they fight to connect and help every Jew and Jew. Their sacrifice is immense. The children sometimes learn from home (because there is no Jewish school in the area).

“Obtaining kosher food is a difficult task, guests every Erev Shabbat, prayers and meals — all with joy, usually with fine humor, and with a huge heart.

“Even in the current crisis, Chabad emissaries in Ukraine are devoting themselves to rescuing Jews and assisting in bringing them to Israel.

“On behalf of the citizens of Israel and the Jews of the world – Thank you, Chabad community. We love you.”

This comes two days after Bennett, flanked by several high profile dignitaries, greeted a group of Jewish orphans from Zhitomir, Ukraine who had arrived at Ben Gurion Airport Sunday morning.

Pictured in the tweet is Rabbi Shlomo Wilhelm, Senior Shliach and Chief Rabbi of Western Ukraine, who was been working tirelessly to provide aid to and evacuate local Jews.
